BillCanGrill.com is a site dedicated to barbeque grilling, featuring recipes, grilling tips, safety tips, barbeque party ideas and more. The logo we created is simple but conveys the most important elements of the website, namely barbeque recipes, in the small logo.
We found a cute clipart of a guy flipping a burger in a chef’s hat and apron. Perfect fit! Next we incorporated the website’s tagline (and primary keyword phrase), delicious backyard barbecue recipes into the logo. We realize that the keyword phrase is not searchable since it’s a graphic, but we compensated for that by using the keyword phrase in the “alt” attribute of the image tag in the HTML markup as well as in the body content. Lastly, using a distinctive font, we added the site’s name.
