The owner of Lucky Husky was referred to us by a mutual friend. The project’s primary goal was to increase search engine visibility and attract more visitors from the search engines. Note: we performed services about 2002 on this project. The site has since changed dramatically. We’re not sure if the Lucky Husky kennel is still in operation, though from the website copy, it seems it might. However, it doesn’t appear that they are attempting to market the business online any longer.

Site Analysis
We provided website analysis services to Lucky Husky. Not only did we do this to determine what the site was lacking in terms of search engine optimization and marketing, but also to determine how the site could be more useful to visitors.
Keyword Analysis
Lucky Husky offered winter and summer dog sled rides, tours and adventures as well as a unique wedding experience (no they did not provide all of the wedding services, but rides for guests and the newlyweds). We did our keyword research and came up with a list of keywords that we felt could bring them significant amounts of traffic from the search engines and convert those visitors into service inquiries and sales.
Content Copywriting
We rewrote the content on several pages, including their home page, creating keyword rich, but visitor friendly, content. We created pages for winter tours, summer tours and wedding services. Each page targeted a different keyword phrase as well as different types of potential customers.
Custom Graphics
We did not create the Lucky Husky logo; however we did repurpose some of the site’s existing photos and create new navigation buttons.
Website Design
We changed up the design slightly by changing the order of page elements, a new navigation structure, and more.
Search Engine Ranking Reports
For a time, we provided the owner of Lucky Husky monthly search engine ranking reports. These reports displayed the sites rankings for the keywords we chose to target and which pages were ranking for those keywords.
Overall, the owner of Lucky Husky was quite pleased with the end results. Her website became more visible in the search engines, which led to more visitors. As a result, she began getting more inquiries regarding the availability of Lucky Husky’s services and made several bookings.
