About Bill Gentry
Bill handles all web design and search engine optimization activities as well as day to day business operations.
Bill has been designing websites since 1996. Bill taught himself website design by reading many books on the subject and lots of trial and error .His first website was Rookies ‘N’ Stars, a website he used to trade, sell and buy sports cards. He also used this site to try out a variety of web design and search engine optimization techniques and ideas.
In 1999, Bill was hired by FPS Internet as a Junior Web Designer, cementing his professional status as a web designer. While at FPS Internet, he helped design several websites for clients, including a site for a real estate agency, one for an eye clinic and a portal for people involved with Hollywood media, such as actors, screenwriters and directors.
In 2000, Bill was hired to perform web design and search engine optimization at The Selling Source, which, at the time, was a small Internet marketing company. During his tenure at The Selling Source, Bill designed a variety of simple informational websites for clients. These sites, designed solely for achieving top search engine rankings, dominated the major search engines of the day for a variety of keywords, including highly competitive phrases, such as online gambling and cash advances. He became a Certified Advanced Search Engine Marketing Strategist through the Academy of Web Specialists in 2000, renewing his certification every year to keep up with the latest search engine optimization and search engine marketing strategies, techniques, tools and information. From 2001 to 2003, Bill taught search engine optimization classes with the Academy of Web Specialists as well as wrote articles and reviews for its monthly newsletter. From 2004 to 2006, Bill occasionally presented at live Search Engine Workshops in Las Vegas, Nevada on a variety of topics.
In 2002, Bill founded Look Sharp Designs with his wife, Stephanie. Since opening the doors, Bill has designed websites and performed search engine optimization services for Search Engine Workshops (the leading provider of search engine optimization training), Online Web Training (a subsidiary of Search Engine Workshops providing online search engine optimization certification courses), real estate agents, online merchants, authors and freelance photographers.
In 2010, Bill is incorporating the latest design techniques, such as HTML 5, CSS3, and JQuery, into websites he designs.
In addition to designing websites, Bill has been involved with testing software at all levels, from entry level tester to test manager since 2002. During this phase of his career, Bill has learned a variety of software testing methodologies, techniques and skills, as well as project management and process improvement skills. All these skills he has learned in his software testing career aid in web development, ensuring that all sites created by Look Sharp Designs are error free and properly displayed in browsers.
Bill received a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Las Vegas in 1998.

About Stephanie Gentry
Stephanie is the Company’s technical and creative writer as well as its technical and creative editor. She also helps out with day to day business operations and marketing to prospective clients.
Stephanie began her writing career in high school as a reporter for her high school newspaper. In the late 1990s, she wrote many articles for "Secure Your Independence," a subscription based service designed to help people become financially secure. In 2002, Stephanie was hired by Bally Technologies as a Technical Writer. While at Bally Technologies, she specialized in drafting responses to requests for proposals.
In 2004, Stephanie was hired by WMS as the Documentation Specialist for Game Research and Development. In this position, she created documentation for game prototypes as well as prepared rough drafts for a variety of legal documents, including intellectual property documentation.
Joining Aristocrat Technologies (ATI) in 2005, Stephanie wrote several game manuals, two of which won the Best of Show award from the Society for Technical Communication. In addition to her writing, she honed her project management skills while at ATI.
Stephanie continues to write high quality technical documentation, creating documentation and manuals for CHSI of Nevada, Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas, Video Gaming Technologies and Aspect Gaming.
Since founding Look Sharp Designs with her husband Bill in 2002, Stephanie has continually improved the quality level of the company’s services due to her keen eye and attention to detail. In addition, her expertise in technical writing and project management have given Look Sharp Designs the ability to offer services not usually provided by web design studios. Her skills and expertise are one reason Look Sharp Designs is able to produce websites that LOOK SHARP! and keep clients coming back for more.
Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland in 1996.
